Why study digital disruption and platforms?

Disruption and growth are the defining features of digital transformation: Amazon harnessing AI to take over retail and the cloud, Netflix and Uber growing as platforms that upended entertainment and taxis, blockchain technology cutting out middlemen with smart contracts.

In this 6-week collaborative online programme, busy executives will learn from faculty from across the University of Oxford, and industry leaders who have pioneered digital business models.

You’ll develop the strategy skills to leverage AI, platforms and blockchain for business growth, and you’ll also develop a proposal for how a business should respond to disruption – tools to help you advance your career.

“The rise of the platform business model and the double-edged sword of new banking regulations provides a window of opportunity for new entrants looking to leverage artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies to impact the future of banking.”

Pinar Ozcan,
Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Director of the Oxford Future of Finance and Technology Initiative at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford
